Yuugumo

Yuugumo is a destroyer ship girl from the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle). She is the lead ship of the Yuugumo-class destroyers. Designed by Fujikawa and voiced by Ayana Taketatsu, Yuugumo is known for her distinctive purple sailor uniform with naval elements, a white shirt and a teal-blue bowtie, and also for her long green braid hairstyle and playful habit of sticking her tongue out. In the game, Yuugumo is popular among players for her relatively high initial stats and potential for upgrades. She is positioned as a "mainstay" destroyer and has a flirtatious personality, often playfully asking the admiral to depend on her. Over time, Yuugumo has received many limited edition illustrations, including New Year's mode, Bouquet of Flowers mode, Saury Festival mode, Outing mode, Peach Blossom Festival mode, and Christmas mode. She features many voice lines, expressing her affection for the admiral and her pride as a vital member of the fleet. Yuugumo's upgraded forms are Yuugumo Kai and Yuugumo Kai Ni, each bringing new equipment and stat boosts. She is also an important ship for upgrading the Type 22 Surface Radar.
