Naganami

Naganami (長波, ながなみ) is a character from the game "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん, KanColle), a Yuugumo-class destroyer and the fourth ship of her class. She is known for her unique bi-colored hair, black on the outside and pink on the inside. In the game, Naganami is famous for her high luck stat and her historical experience as a meritorious warship. She belonged to the 2nd Torpedo Squadron and participated in several important battles, including the famous Battle of Lunga Point where she served as the flagship. Despite the victory at Lunga Point, some controversy arose around her commander, Tanaka Raizo’s decisions. Naganami is a lively character who likes ramen and milk tea. She also shows friendly interactions with other destroyers like Hibiki and Shimakaze. Her remodel forms include Naganami Kai and Naganami Kai Ni, each bringing stat boosts and new equipment. Beyond the game, she has appeared in various “Kantai Collection” derivatives such as anime and manga. Naganami’s image and character are highly popular among players, and she has numerous limited seasonal illustrations, such as her spring bouquet mode and autumn yukata mode.
