Sakawa

Sakawa is a character from the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), a ship girl based on the Japanese light cruiser Sakawa from World War II. In the game, Sakawa is known for her unique personality and appearance. She is a lively, cheerful, and innocent young girl, often using cute phrases like "pyan♪." Visually, she has a short, sea cucumber-colored bob with a single ahoge (hair antenna) and light brown, drooping eyes, and she wears a naval uniform-style outfit. Although she possesses strong anti-submarine capabilities, her firepower is relatively low, which is related to her lack of combat experience in history. In the game, Sakawa is a beloved ship girl among admirals, expressing her love for the admiral directly and enthusiastically. Additionally, Sakawa has a special connection to "Operation Crossroads" in the game's storyline, showing clear aversion towards this operation, which relates to its impact on her historically based ship. Her experiences and fate, intertwined with luck and misfortune, make her an unforgettable character in "Kantai Collection."
