Akitsu Maru

Akitsu Maru (あきつ丸) is a character from the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), based on the Type C amphibious assault ship of the Imperial Japanese Army. In the game, Akitsu Maru is depicted as a young girl with short black hair, gray/black eyes, and pale skin, wearing a gray military uniform and white sneakers. She operates Daihatsu-class landing craft and, after being remodeled, can carry aircraft, becoming a ship girl similar to an aircraft carrier. Akitsu Maru has a reserved personality, speaks in a military manner, and expresses respect to the Admiral (the player). Her lines often include "de arimasu," which is a formal way of speaking. Within the game's setting, Akitsu Maru holds a unique position as a special ship of the Army, not a Navy ship girl. She excels in transportation and landing operations but is relatively weak in combat, needing upgrades and equipment to improve. In the game's story, Akitsu Maru shows her loyalty and responsibility towards the fleet and the Admiral.
