Yayoi

Yayoi is a ship girl character from the game *Kantai Collection* (KanColle), and is the third ship of the Mutsuki-class destroyers. She is designed by illustrator Kusada Sota and voiced by Rina Hidaka. Yayoi is known for her reserved and emotionally inexpressive personality, though she displays a resilient side in battle. Her appearance is characterized by a dark blue sailor uniform, unique hair ornaments, and single-mounted guns on her arms. In-game, Yayoi is often favored as an ideal member of expedition fleets due to her low consumption, making her suitable for long-term operations. She is also a member of the Thirtieth Destroyer Division, maintaining close connections with other ship girls like Mutsuki, Kisaragi, and Mochizuki. Yayoi’s character design is very popular with players and has many limited-time skins including Valentine’s and Spring outing themes. Despite her introverted personality, Yayoi holds a deep trust and loyalty to the admiral, revealing an unseen kindness and strength in the storyline.
