Tanikaze

Tanikaze is a character in the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), specifically the 14th ship of the Kagerou-class destroyers. She is characterized by her short black hair, white headband, and energetic, competitive personality. She speaks with a stereotypical Edokko (Tokyo) accent despite being built in Osaka. She has a good relationship with Suzukaze, who shares the same accent. In the game, Tanikaze has multiple forms, including her base, Kai, and D Kai versions. She excels in night battles and has high torpedo, ASW (anti-submarine warfare), and evasion stats. While balanced initially, her D Kai form significantly enhances her ASW capabilities, making her a valuable asset in anti-submarine operations. Her damaged art is known for its controversial pose and expression. Tanikaze's voice lines often feature the exclamation "kaa-!!" She is closely linked with other members of the 17th Destroyer Division (such as Isokaze, Hamakaze, and Urakaze) and is a crucial character in "Kantai Collection."
