Ooyodo

Ooyodo is a popular character in the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), based on the Japanese light cruiser Ooyodo from World War II. She initially appeared as a non-combat NPC known as the "Mission Girl," managing player tasks. Later, she was officially implemented as a playable ship girl, serving as a flagship for Combined Fleets. Ooyodo is known for her serious and diligent personality, distinctive glasses, and military uniform design. She is often depicted as a reliable strategist, providing support in battles, and a key figure in fleet logistics management. Ooyodo's iconic equipment includes the large seaplane hangar on her back, reflecting her unique role as a fleet flagship. Her various limited-time skins (such as yukata and swimsuit) are also beloved by players.
