She participated in major battles such as the Battle of Leyte Gulf and witnessed many scenes of war. Her Kanmusu image and lines reflect her experience and historical background. Hayashimo can be remodeled into Hayashimo Kai Ni, possessing enhanced combat abilities. She is popular among players for her unique voice and artwork. She plays a vital role in missions and events, making her an indispensable member of any player's fleet. Hayashimo Kai Ni's ship class is displayed as "Kai Yuugumo-class" instead of regular Yuugumo-class in the game.
