Hatsuzuki

Hatsuzuki is a character from the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), a ship girl based on the Japanese Imperial Navy's Akizuki-class destroyer, the fourth ship, Hatsuzuki. In the game, Hatsuzuki is designated as an Air Defense Destroyer, despite still being fundamentally a destroyer. She is known for her dignified, masculine manner of speaking, and her unique first-person pronoun "boku", which sets her apart from other ship girls. Hatsuzuki's illustration features dark hair and a distinctive hairstyle, giving a capable and reliable impression. In the story, she operates alongside other Akizuki-class ship girls, performing air defense and fleet escort duties. Hatsuzuki possesses high anti-air capabilities and a certain amount of firepower in battle, making her an important anti-air force in the player's fleet. Her backstory is linked to the historical destroyer Hatsuzuki, reflecting the tragic nature of her wartime missions.
