Asashimo

Asashimo is a Kanmusu (Fleet Girl) in the game *Kantai Collection*, based on the Japanese Imperial Navy's Yuugumo-class destroyer, Asashimo. She was implemented on February 6, 2015, as a boss drop during an event and later added to the drop pool of the 4-5 map. In the game, Asashimo is known for her confident personality and catchphrase, "Don't forget me!," which reflects her late-war service history. She's typically depicted with silver-white outer hair and purple inner hair, along with distinctive jagged teeth. Asashimo has three upgrade forms: base, Kai, and Kai Ni, each with unique stats and equipment. She excels in anti-submarine warfare (ASW), with extremely high ASW stats in her Kai form, making her a strong option for early preemptive ASW attacks. Asashimo is a popular character in the game, with a wide range of voice lines, including hourly notifications, seasonal lines, and marriage lines, expressing her fighting spirit and loyalty to the Admiral. Her character design also includes a unique school uniform and equipment, as well as changing outfits with each remodeling, such as the Bou-no-Misaki socks in her Kai Ni form.
