Littorio

Littorio is a ship girl in the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), based on the Italian Navy's Littorio, the second ship of the Vittorio Veneto-class battleships. She is one of the earliest non-Japanese ship girls implemented in the game, known for her high speed and firepower. After remodeling, Littorio changes her name to "Italia". In the game, Littorio has a gentle and slightly naive personality, and is very friendly towards the Admiral (player). She has a distinctive Italian accent and often uses Italian greetings, such as "Buongiorno" (good morning). As a fast battleship, Littorio performs well in battle, boasting an exceptionally long range. She also has unique lines, such as her confusion about "Fritz X," which relates to her historical experience of being damaged by German guided bombs during World War II. Littorio's illustration is by artist Jiji, and she has several limited versions, including summer swimwear, Christmas, and Valentine's Day. Littorio's acquisition in the game is quite unique, usually obtained as a reward or drop in specific event maps.
