Roma

Roma is a character from the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), personified from the Italian battleship Roma of the Vittorio Veneto-class during World War II. In the game, she appears as a young woman with a slightly tsundere personality, characterized by her medium-length wavy brown hair, pince-nez glasses, and a distinctive white sleeveless shirt with a red skirt. Roma is a high-speed battleship with strong firepower and high durability. Her lines and background lore are tied to her historical counterpart, including her resentment towards the German air raids that sank her. This is often referenced through phrases like "Fritz X", the radio-guided bomb. Roma is typically obtained through event drops, making her relatively rare. She can be remodeled into Roma Kai, which further enhances her capabilities. She is a popular character in fan-created content, frequently appearing with her sister Littorio. She is voiced by Kuno Misaki and designed by Jiji. Roma is notably sensitive about her left deck area and expresses strong displeasure when touched. She also has special seasonal quotes and limited-time illustrations for events such as Halloween and Valentine's Day. Her dialogue often includes Italian phrases like "Buongiorno" and "Grazie", reflecting her Italian origin. Overall, Roma is a complex character blending historical background with cute attributes, making her a favorite among players.
