Mizuho

Mizuho (みずほ), also written as 瑞穂, is a character in the Japanese web browser game 'Kantai Collection' (艦隊これくしょん, KanColle), also known as 'Combined Fleet Girls Collection'. She is a 'kanmusu' or ship girl based on the Imperial Japanese Navy's seaplane tender 'Mizuho' from World War II. In the game, Mizuho appears as a young woman with grey eyes and long black hair, styled in a low ponytail with lace decorations, rice stalk ornaments at her temples, and hair tubes tied with red ribbons. She wears a green hakama-style dress with an oversized obi, a white lace jacket with detached furisode-style sleeves leading to bridal gauntlets. She also sports fishnet kneehighs and red-and-white high-heeled sandals. In combat, Mizuho is equipped with an anti-air turret and carries a miniature ship's stern with cranes and a radio antenna on her back. Mizuho is capable of using seaplane reconnaissance, bombers, and fighters, as well as main guns and midget submarines. She is a versatile unit that can participate in most combat stages and can also be used as an anti-installation attacker. Her personality is gentle and sometimes a bit absent-minded.
