Kazagumo

Kazagumo (かざぐも) is a ship girl character in the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), also known as "Fleet Girls Collection". She is the third ship of the Yuugumo-class destroyers. Designed by the artist Fujikawa and voiced by Akari Kitō, Kazagumo is known for her long ponytail and somewhat serious personality. She is also portrayed as a diligent and hardworking ship girl who actively participates in various missions. In the game, Kazagumo undergoes multiple upgrades, including her Kai and Kai Ni forms, each improving her combat abilities. She wears the standard Yuugumo-class destroyer uniform, but notably sports a necktie instead of a bow, which is unusual among Yuugumo-class ship girls. Kazagumo has various different outfits in the game, including her summer swimsuit, Setsubun costume, and New Year's kimono. Her lines often reference her memories of the aircraft carrier Hiryū and her aversion to torpedoes, alluding to her historical experiences. Kazagumo is a beloved character in "Kantai Collection", with her unique design and historical context giving her a special charm.
