Arashi

Arashi (嵐, あらし) is a destroyer ship girl in the game Kantai Collection (艦隊これくしょん, also known as KanColle). She is the 16th ship of the Kagerō-class destroyers, known for her energetic and belligerent personality and her unique "ore-musume" (boyish girl) speech pattern. In the game, Arashi is often depicted as a lively girl who likes to say "Arashi o makiokosu ze!" (Let's raise a storm!). Her equipment includes small caliber main guns, torpedoes, and anti-submarine warfare gear, making her adept at night battles and torpedo attacks. She is part of the Fourth Destroyer Division and has close relationships with other ship girls like Hagikaze, Maikaze, and Nowaki. A notable feature of Arashi's design is the searchlight on her waist, resembling a Kamen Rider transformation belt, which often makes her a source of related jokes. Her voice actress is Ai Kayano, and she was illustrated by Konishi. In the game, Arashi can only be obtained by drops from event maps or in specific areas. In the game's story, she participated in many important battles, demonstrating her indomitable fighting spirit.
