Asakaze

Asakaze (朝風, あさかぜ) is a character in the game "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん, KanColle), also known as "Combined Fleet Girls Collection." She is a ship girl (kanmusu) based on the Japanese Imperial Navy's Kamikaze-class destroyer, the second ship named Asakaze. In the game, Asakaze is portrayed as an energetic and somewhat sensitive girl who is proud of her accomplishments but also highly sensitive to criticism. She loves mornings, often getting up at 4 AM to watch the sunrise. Her in-game lines reveal her overreaction to being "made fun of," which may be related to her sinking experience. Asakaze is depicted as a girl in a Meiji-era school uniform, featuring a blue hakama skirt, a sash with an anchor, and knee-high laced boots. She has blue eyes, long wavy light brown hair, and two large blue hair ribbons. Her equipment includes a funnel and torpedo launcher on her back and single-cannon turrets on her thighs. She is part of the Fifth Destroyer Division and participates in various battles and missions. Additionally, she has varied voice lines and dialogue that reflect her personality and experiences.
