Matsukaze

Matsukaze (まつかぜ) is a character from the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), a personification of the Japanese Imperial Navy's Kamikaze-class destroyer, Matsukaze. In the game, she appears as a cool, androgynous girl with unique short black hair, green eyes, and a miniature silk hat worn at an angle. Her attire is reminiscent of Taisho-era female students, with a white or light green top and dark green hakama pants. Matsukaze is characterized by her calm and confident personality, with dramatic speech patterns often likened to a male role in the Takarazuka Revue. She refers to herself as "boku" and the player as "kimi," making her one of the few "bokukko" characters in "KanColle". She has a close but argumentative relationship with her fellow Kamikaze-class destroyer Asakaze. She is also on good terms with the Mutsuki-class destroyers, calling them by nicknames. Matsukaze is notable for her high detection and anti-submarine capabilities. In the game, she can be upgraded to become stronger and can equip different weapons for various battle situations. Matsukaze is popular among players and is often considered a reliable ally.
