Amagiri

Amagiri is a ship girl in the game Kantai Collection, representing the fifth ship of the Ayanami-class destroyers. She has an energetic and tomboyish personality with a touch of tsundere. Amagiri values the bonds with her comrades and often mentions her sister ship, Sagiri, in the game. She was designed by drew and voiced by Minori Suzuki. She is characterized by her long gray ponytail, glasses, and sportswear worn under her sailor uniform. Amagiri has multiple remodel forms including Kai, Kai Ni, and Kai Ni D, each upgrade increasing her stats and abilities. Historically, Amagiri is most well-known for sinking the American torpedo boat PT-109, which was commanded by future US President John F. Kennedy during WWII. In-game, she makes frequent references to this event. She has various seasonal illustrations, such as autumn casual wear, spring bouquet, Setsubun, and rainy season designs. Amagiri is featured not only in the game but also in related works such as manga and anime. She has a wealth of voice lines that express her enthusiastic, cheerful, and straightforward personality.
