I-26

I-26 is a Junsen Type B submarine appearing in the game Kantai Collection (KanColle), with the ID 283. She is designed by the artist Kuuro Kuro and voiced by Yui Ogura. I-26's nickname is "Nimu", and she has long, light-brown hair styled in two side-tails, wearing a headband, a new school swimsuit, and a short green jacket. In the game, I-26 is portrayed as lively, cheerful, and innocent, often using the phrases "nee nee nee" and "nani nani nani." She is also known for her "commerce raiding," frequently interacting with other ship girls in a "friendly" manner. Historically, I-26 sank the American light cruiser USS Juneau, resulting in the deaths of the five Sullivan brothers serving on the ship, which led to the US Navy's Sole Survivor Policy. Furthermore, she severely damaged the USS Saratoga, leaving it temporarily disabled. In the game, I-26 can be remodeled into I-26 Kai, gaining the ability to equip seaplanes and becoming a submarine aircraft carrier. Her voice lines are rich, including hourly and seasonal lines, reflecting her adorable and lively personality.
