Sheffield

"Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん), also known as "KanColle" (艦これ), is a free-to-play Japanese web browser game developed by Kadokawa Games. The game features anthropomorphized WWII warships as cute girls called "Kanmusu". Players take on the role of an admiral, collecting and training these girls to form fleets and engage in battles against other players or AI. Sheffield (シェフィールド) is a "Kanmusu" from the British Royal Navy, representing the Town-class light cruiser. She is known for her calm and collected personality, as well as her excellent cooking skills. In the game, she boasts impressive firepower and anti-submarine capabilities, making her a valuable asset to any fleet. Sheffield's character design is by Konishi, and her voice actress is Takao Kanon. Her character is based on the real-life HMS Sheffield, a light cruiser nicknamed "Shiny Shef" for its supposed stainless steel fittings. This has inspired her in-game trait of being an excellent cook. Her famous quote is, "HMS Sheffield, reporting for duty. You're the Admiral? Hmmm... I guess you'll do. Nice to meet you." Her voice lines and character design have won over many players.
