Luigi Torelli

Luigi Torelli is a character in the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), based on the Italian Royal Navy's Guglielmo Marconi-class submarine No. 4, Luigi Torelli. In the game, she initially appears as an Italian submarine, but can be remodeled into the German Navy's UIT-25 and then the Japanese Navy's I-504. The most notable feature of this character is that her nationality changes with remodeling, making her one of the few ship girls in the game who have served in all three Axis powers. Luigi Torelli has a lively and cheerful personality, with a slightly childlike demeanor, and calls herself "Lu". Her appearance also changes with remodeling: her initial form has blonde hair and wears a gray wetsuit; the UIT-25 form wears a black bodysuit; and the I-504 form is a white school swimsuit. She is very popular among players due to her unique experience and cute appearance. Her remodeling process and abilities also change, for example, in the "Kai" stage, her firepower decreases but she can equip "Drum Canisters" and gains anti-air ability; in the UIT-25 stage, she regains night battle ability and anti-air ability; and in the I-504 stage, her torpedo power is improved.
