Intrepid

Intrepid (イントレピッド), also known as "The Intrepid", is a Kanmusu character in the game *Kantai Collection* (艦隊これくしょん, also known as KanColle). She is based on the USS Intrepid, the fifth ship of the American Essex-class aircraft carrier, and was designed by the artist Shibafu, voiced by Hikari Kubota. Intrepid appears in the game as a high-spirited girl, proudly displaying the modern equipment she carries, with a personality that is both childish and mature. Intrepid Kai has an extremely high aircraft carrying capacity of 112, making her a very important character in the game. Her characteristics include high armor, high anti-air, and high luck, making her one of the few aircraft carriers in the game to have survived to the present day. Her weapon is not a traditional carrier-based aircraft but rather an M1903 Springfield rifle, reflecting her distinctiveness from other carriers. In the game, Intrepid Kai's remodel requires a level of 50 or higher, along with 3200 ammunition and 4000 steel. She initially carries F4U-1D fighters, and after remodeling, her combat abilities are significantly enhanced.
