Natsugumo

Natsugumo (なつぐも) is a character from the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), a member of the Asashio-class destroyer. She is a later addition to the series, known for her gentle, slightly timid personality and her concern for her comrades. In the game, Natsugumo is portrayed as somewhat introverted, with her voice lines often revealing her cautiousness and sense of responsibility. Her design is based on the real-life Japanese destroyer "Natsugumo," which participated in several important battles during the Pacific War and was eventually sunk in the Battle of Savo Island. Natsugumo's artwork depicts her in a typical Kanmusu uniform with destroyer weaponry, such as dual-mounted guns and torpedo tubes. In the game, she has various remodel forms, gaining increased combat power as she levels up. She primarily serves as a destroyer, suitable for a variety of missions such as escort, scouting, and combat. She has strong bonds with other destroyers in the Ninth Destroyer Division, like Asagumo, Yamagumo, and Minegumo, and often appears with them in storylines and events. Natsugumo's implementation completed the Asashio-class destroyers in "Kantai Collection" and allowed the entire Ninth Destroyer Division to appear.
