Minegumo

Minegumo (峯雲), is a Kanmusu character appearing in the browser game "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん -KanColle-) developed by Kadokawa Games. She is the eighth ship of the Asashio-class destroyers, designed by the artist Fujikawa, and voiced by Yume Miyamoto. In the game, Minegumo is beloved by players for her cute appearance and slightly timid personality. Her character setting and lines often mention Murasame, Asagumo, and Natsugumo, who are also part of the 9th Destroyer Division. Minegumo has the lowest luck stat among all destroyers, but this can improve after remodeling. Her role in the game is a destroyer, excelling in night battles and torpedo attacks. Historically, Minegumo participated in the Pacific War and was sunk in the Battle of Vella Stanmore. The game retains her final lines, which make many players feel heartbroken. Minegumo has several seasonal limited-edition illustrations, such as the Setsubun mode, the Peach Festival mode, and winter clothing, which further enrich her character image.
