Ishigaki

Ishigaki is a character from the game "Kantai Collection," also known as KanColle, a Japanese free-to-play web browser game. She is a personification of the Imperial Japanese Navy coastal defense ship Ishigaki, the fourth ship of the Shimushu-class. Designed by artist UGUME and voiced by Takao Kanon, Ishigaki is portrayed as a young girl with short black hair, red eyes, and a distinctive red and white ribbon tied in her hair. She wears a green sailor uniform and black knee-high socks. Her personality is somewhat mysterious and introverted, often speaking in a hesitant manner, but she shows strength in battle. Historically, Ishigaki sank the US submarine S-44 before being sunk herself by another submarine. In the game, Ishigaki excels at anti-submarine warfare, with higher initial ASW stats compared to her class. After remodeling, her LoS and evasion significantly improve, and she boasts the highest firepower among her class. Ishigaki is also sometimes called a “zashiki-warashi” by players due to her design.
