Shinshuu Maru

Shinshuu Maru is a character in the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), based on the Imperial Japanese Army's special purpose ship (amphibious assault ship) Shinshuu Maru. She is the first amphibious assault ship implemented in the game, known for her distinctive black hood and seemingly aloof expression. In the game, Shinshuu Maru mainly handles transportation and ground attacks, possessing high ground combat capabilities and the ability to carry a large number of landing crafts. She is also the first ship with a floodable well deck, capable of launching landing crafts continuously, reflecting her historical status as a pioneer of modern amphibious assault ships. Despite her serious appearance, she has a sweet tooth and cares about the admiral. Shinshuu Maru can be enhanced through remodeling and can be equipped with various anti-ground attack equipment, playing an important role in the game, especially when ground combat or transportation missions are required.
