Jingei

Jingei is a character in the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), a personified submarine tender. As the lead ship of the Jingei-class, she plays a role in providing supplies and support to submarines in the game. She was designed by artist Yuzu Akasaka and voiced by Yumi Tanibe. Jingei is depicted as a girl with black hair styled in three braids, adorned with a whale-shaped hair accessory, wearing a kimono-style outfit, and equipped with unique rigging such as a tea canister and twin-mounted guns. In the game, she's known for her gentle tone and deep affection for the Admiral, often expressing her feelings with phrases like "I like you," making her a beloved character among players. Jingei was first introduced during the summer event in 2020 and has multiple seasonal illustrations, including yukata, Christmas, Setsubun, Valentine's Day, Hanami, and swimsuit versions.
