Kaiboukan No.4

Kaiboukan No.4, or the Fourth Coastal Defense Ship, is a character from the game "Kantai Collection." She is the second ship of the Type D Coastal Defense Ship. Her Japanese reading is "Daiyongo (だいよんごう)." In the game, she can be upgraded to Kaiboukan No.4 Kai at level 35. Kaiboukan No.4 excels in anti-submarine warfare (ASW), possessing high ASW stats. Her illustrations are by Hozuka, and her voice actress is Saki Fujita. She has various limited-time illustrations, including Christmas, Hinamatsuri, Halloween, Saury Festival, New Year, Setsubun, early spring, and Valentine's Day. She gains bonuses by equipping various equipment. For example, equipping the 12cm Single High-angle Gun Mount Model E increases her anti-air, evasion, and anti-submarine capabilities. Equipping specific radars and sonars can also improve evasion and firepower. Her lines reference her efforts in defending Yokosuka, battles in the Mariana Islands and the Ogasawara Islands, and her resolve in the Ise Bay. She is proud of her hard work despite her small size and her fearlessness against enemy submarines. Kaiboukan No.4 is primarily an ASW ship, effective when using anti-submarine equipment.
