Kaiboukan No.30

Kaiboukan No.30, or Daisanjūgō Kaibōkan (第三〇号海防艦), is a character in the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), also known as "Fleet Girls Collection". She is a moe anthropomorphism of the Japanese escort ship No. 30 of the Second World War. Within the game, she is classified as a Type D escort ship, specifically the 15th ship of the Type No. 2 escort vessel. She is characterized by her petite appearance, black hair tied back, and emphasis on the concept of "protecting". She has a strong connection to Yura Port, where she was sunk. Voiced by Yuki Yagi, and designed by Hozuka, her initial equipment slots are limited, but these can be increased through remodeling. She shares similarities with her sister ship, No. 4, but has subtle differences, like black tights and a shoulder-mounted cannon. She also has seasonal variations of her design, such as Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day. She was available as a drop during the second half of the 2021 summer event. Her in-game role is that of an auxiliary ship with some anti-submarine and anti-air capabilities.
