Ume

There is no character named "Ume" in the game *Kantai Collection* (KanColle). This game personifies World War II warships as cute "ship girls" called *kanmusu*, and the player takes on the role of an admiral, commanding these *kanmusu* in battles. The game features a wide variety of *kanmusu* with unique personalities and historical backgrounds, but there isn't one called "Ume". Players collect and develop these *kanmusu* through construction, sorties, expeditions, and completing quests. KanColle is not just a game but has also spawned a large cultural franchise including manga, anime, novels, and more. The anime series focuses on the destroyer Fubuki and her life with other *kanmusu* at a naval base. The second season shifts its focus to Shigure and portrays the battles during the end of the Pacific War. The game is very popular among players and has a large fan base with continuous updates of new *kanmusu* and events.
