I-203

I-203 is a Kanmusu (ship girl) in the game Kantai Collection (KanColle), based on the Japanese submarine I-203, the third of the Type KD7 submarines. Designed by Hoshiakari and voiced by Yamada Yuuki, she was introduced in the Spring 2021 event. She is recognizable by her unique two-piece sailor swimsuit, midriff-baring top, toeless thigh-high boots, and horn-like headgear. Her in-game nickname is "Fuumii". I-203 has a calm demeanor, but she shows more confidence after being remodeled. She enjoys running and believes she is the fastest underwater. Because her historical counterpart did not see combat, her knowledge of other ship girls is limited to members of her own submarine squadron. In the game, I-203 is a high-speed submarine with high evasion but low firepower. She can achieve "High Speed+" status with specific equipment after remodeling, making her strategically important on certain maps. She has various costumes, including casual, summer, yukata, and Christmas outfits. It is worth noting that some fan creations call I-203 "geroshabu", which is not official.
