Drum

Drum (ドラム) is a Kanmusu character from "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん, Kantai Collection, also known as KanColle). She is based on the WWII-era United States Navy Gato-class submarine USS Drum (SS-228). In the game, Drum appears as a lively and energetic girl with an American accent, often referring to herself as the “number one” Gato-class submarine. Her dialogue frequently includes English phrases, and she invites players to visit her museum ship in Alabama. She is skilled at cooking, especially pancakes and coffee. Her design features unique details such as a skull mark on her collar, referencing her wartime Jolly Roger flag, and 11 stars on her left leg representing her 12 battle stars. Drum serves as a submarine in the game, boasting high torpedo stats and being particularly useful in night battles. She has a complex backstory involving another character, Mizuho, whom Drum historically sunk. She is the 5th museum ship Kanmusu in the game. She is voiced by Asaki Yugawa and illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma.
