Scamp

Scamp is a character in the game "Kantai Collection" (艦隊これくしょん, KanColle), a fleet girl based on the Gato-class submarine USS Scamp (SS-277) of the US Navy during World War II. She is the first Allied submarine implemented in the game and the first overseas submarine whose final affiliation is not with the Japanese Navy. Scamp is known for her slightly rough yet straightforward personality and unique appearance. She wears a star-shaped hair ornament and holds a star-shaped candy, which echoes the 7 battle stars she received historically. Despite her sharp tongue, she shows a subtle affection for the Admiral (player). In the game, Scamp has unique equipment bonuses, and her remodeled stats make her a powerful submarine character. Her voice lines also incorporate some English, reflecting her American background. Scamp's addition has added new color and depth to "Kantai Collection," while also sparking player discussions about historical details and character settings.
