Kurahashi

Kurahashi (くらはし) is a ship girl character from the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle). She is the fifth ship of the Mikura-class coastal defense ships and is depicted in the game as a diligent and responsible young woman. Kurahashi's primary duty is participating in maritime escort missions, particularly protecting important transport convoys such as the Hi Convoy, Tama Convoy, and Mota Convoy bound for Taiwan. Her design references historical context, reflecting the characteristics of Japanese Navy coastal defense ships during World War II. Though her attack capabilities are relatively weak, her anti-submarine warfare capabilities are high, making her suitable for anti-submarine operations. Kurahashi has a gentle personality and always strives to fulfill her duties, desiring to contribute to peaceful seas. She's often seen as a reliable support character in the game, and players can obtain her through various means like events or drops. Her voice lines and dialogue also reflect her personality and her determination to protect convoys and her comrades. She also looks forward to participating in minesweeping work with Yashiro after the war to contribute to peace.
