Tuscaloosa

Tuscaloosa is a ship girl (Kanmusu) in the game *Kantai Collection* (KanColle), based on the US Navy's New Orleans-class heavy cruiser, USS Tuscaloosa (CA-37). Designed by Hoshiakari and voiced by Aira Iryo, she is depicted with short blonde hair, blue eyes, and a composed demeanor, though she displays a friendly side to the Admiral. She is known for her cooking skills and often prepares meals for the fleet. Tuscaloosa's initial equipment includes the 8-inch triple gun mount Mk.9, and upon remodeling, she gains 5-inch single high-angle gun mounts and a SOC Seagull scout plane. She boasts a high luck stat, which is among the top for heavy cruisers. First introduced in a Spring 2023 event, she is often heard mixing English phrases into her dialogue. Additionally, Tuscaloosa is known for her close relationship with the character Ranger, with whom she frequently interacts in the game's story and everyday routines.
