No.101 Transport Ship

The No.101 Transport Ship is a character in the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), based on the Imperial Japanese Navy's Second Class Transports. In the game, she is classified as a Landing Ship, Tank (LST), but in practice, she more closely resembles an Amphibious Assault Ship (LHA). She is known for her unique “controlled grounding landing” animation, where she approaches land targets, lowers her bow ramp, and deploys tanks to attack. As part of the Army Units, she is able to equip “Landing Forces” equipment and inflict significant damage on land targets. Her special mechanics allow her to prioritize attacks on land installations, and her ship physically moves across the screen like other landing equipment during attacks. Although her armor and durability are not high, her anti-land attack capabilities make her very useful in specific combat scenarios. Her voice lines and character setting have also made her a favorite among many players.
