Asahi

Asahi is a character from the game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), also known as "Combined Fleet Girls Collection". She is a ship girl based on the pre-dreadnought battleship Asahi of the former Imperial Japanese Navy. Initially introduced as a training special service ship, she can be remodeled into a repair ship. Asahi is depicted as a graceful and refined lady with a mature and calm personality, but she also shows a desire for speed and a fondness for her tools. She has short brown hair, with a braid on her left fringe, and wears a Meiji-era style western dress. After remodeling, she wears work gear. In the game, Asahi has a unique experience bonus mechanism in naval exercises, and after remodeling into a repair ship, she can perform anchorage repairs to provide logistical support to the fleet. Her voice actress is Satomi Akesaka, and she was designed by Yuzu Akasaka.
