Gloire

Gloire is a character in the web browser game "Kantai Collection" (KanColle), a ship girl (kanmusu) based on the French Navy light cruiser Gloire. She is the first French light cruiser introduced in the game and the fourth European light cruiser overall. Gloire was implemented as a reward ship during an event on July 26, 2024, and can also be obtained as a drop in some maps. Her design features include her 15.2cm triple-mounted guns and a fourth equipment slot that unlocks after her remodel. Gloire has balanced stats, with high evasion and good firepower, but her torpedo capabilities are relatively weak, making her less suited for night battles. Her appearance and personality reference the historical Gloire, such as her fondness for the tricolor flag. Her introduction offers players a wider variety of fleet configurations and a new fighting force.
