Zack

Zack is a character in the Dead or Alive series, first appearing in the original Dead or Alive game. He is a self-taught Muay Thai boxer and a DJ. Zack enters the Dead or Alive Tournaments primarily for money and fame. Despite achieving a place in the top three in the previous three tournaments, either due to other contestants withdrawing or through his own efforts, he is the "winner" of the fourth tournament, as Helena Douglas gave her title to him. Zack also plays a significant role in the Dead or Alive Xtreme spin-off series, as he is the owner and creator of Zack Island. Not much is known about Zack's early life. He is a fan of Japanese culture and a regular customer of Ryu Hayabusa's antique shop. In the first tournament, Zack sought to increase his popularity by participating. In the second tournament, he attempted to pursue Tina Armstrong. In the third tournament, he tried to win prize money to fund a trip to Las Vegas. Zack, together with Niki, purchased a private island and sent out invitations to the previous female contestants, which turned out to be a hoax. Zack also saved Helena during the fourth tournament, after which he was reunited with Niki and explored a crypt in Egypt, discovering a large fortune. He also rebuilt Zack Island and served as the host for the fifth tournament. In the sixth tournament, Zack took on more of a managerial role. He frequently changes his hairstyle and hair color, but his natural hair color is believed to be black. He is also a supporting character in the 2006 film, DOA: Dead or Alive.
