Momiji

Momiji, also known as 紅葉, is a significant character in the Dead or Alive series, first appearing in 2008's Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword. She is not only Ryu Hayabusa's apprentice but also the Dragon Shrine Maiden of the Hayabusa clan. Momiji is tasked with guarding the Dragons Eye, a sacred jewel said to contain the spirit of a mighty dragon. In times of great danger, it is her duty to ensure the jewel safely reaches Ryu Hayabusa to enhance his Dragon Sword's power. Beloved in her village, she is viewed as a big sister figure by the children. Beyond her shrine duties, she has become a skilled kunoichi (female ninja) under Ryu's tutelage. Momiji has a kind and gentle personality, shows respect to her opponents, and possesses unwavering determination. She trains relentlessly to protect the Hayabusa village, and her combat skills have been demonstrated in the Dead or Alive tournaments. Momiji is a popular character among players for her unique fighting style, graceful appearance, and endearing personality.
