Agumon (Black)

Agumon (Black), also known as アグモン（黒） in Japanese, is a fictional character in the Digimon franchise, categorized as a Reptile Digimon. It closely resembles Agumon but with a black skin and a more aggressive personality. Agumon (Black) is a Virus type Digimon, often considered a corrupted version of Agumon due to a virus infection. Although it is still in its Rookie stage, it has low power but possesses sharp claws and displays fearlessness in battle. Its special attack is “Baby Flame,” a flame breath attack from its mouth. It appears in numerous Digimon games and can evolve into various powerful Digimon, such as BlackGreymon and DarkTyrannomon, with different evolution paths depending on the game. Agumon (Black)'s presence often foreshadows the arrival of stronger Digimon. In some storylines, it appears as an antagonist, engaging in battles with the protagonist groups, thus gaining a certain degree of popularity in the Digimon series.
