Asuramon (アシュラモン) is a legendary Digimon in the Digimon franchise, characterized by its four arms and three faces. Its name and design are derived from the Asura in Hindu mythology. Asuramon's three faces represent wrath, mercy, and blessings. It is said to suddenly appear in computers while they are analyzing ancient Hindu cultural documents. Despite its fearsome appearance, Asuramon deeply values justice, attacking injustice without mercy, and is considered an avatar of a god of light. Its signature move is the "Asura Shinken" (Asura God Fist), a flurry of punches using all four arms, powerful enough to obliterate foes. Asuramon's personality can shift depending on which face is dominant, making it capable of both good and evil. It enhances its attacks with fire during combat. Asuramon has appeared in various Digimon anime, manga, and games, including as a guardian of the Area of Fire in Digimon Frontier and stealing human faces to feel emotions in Digimon Ghost Game. Its evolutionary line includes digivolving from Musyamon and further digivolving into Zanbamon, among others.
