Ajatarmon

Ajatarmon (アヤタラモン) is a Vegetation Digimon from the Digimon franchise. They live in tribal-like groups, building small civilizations deep in the jungle. Ajatarmon are typically taciturn and don't speak much, but they use hand signals to communicate when hunting in groups, showcasing excellent cooperation. They are short-tempered and violent, but possess a pure heart with pride as a hunter. Ajatarmon's primary attacks include “Assault Hatchet,” a strike with a versatile hatchet capable of felling trees, “Entangling Ivy,” which uses vine-like feelers from the back of their head to bind enemies, and “Shotgun Moss,” where they launch poisonous needles from their head like hair at distant enemies. Ajatarmon is inspired by Ajatar, an evil spirit in Finnish folklore known as the “Devil of the Woods”. In the Digimon world, they are usually depicted as a tribal Digimon residing deep in the jungle, having their own culture and way of life. They can digivolve through various means, including evolution from Parasaurmon or Vegiemon, as well as DNA digivolution with other Digimon.
