Algomon (Baby II) is a Mutant Digimon of the Baby II stage in the Digimon franchise. It debuted in the reboot anime series, Digimon Adventure:. The name Algomon is derived from the abbreviation of "algorithm," and may also be a reference to Argos Panoptes, the giant with countless eyes from Greek mythology.
Physically, Algomon (Baby II) is green with a large eye-like pattern and a mouth on its underside, which it uses to consume data. When threatened, it attacks by spitting "Acid Bubbles" from its eye-like pattern. It tends to gather where large amounts of data flow and feeds on this data. Despite being a Baby stage, it is still a threat and can disrupt electronic devices.
In Digimon Adventure:, Algomon (Baby II) has appeared many times, and is capable of evolving into stronger forms, such as Algomon (Champion) as well as Ultimate and Mega forms.
