Ankylomon

Ankylomon (アンキロモン) is a Dinosaur Digimon from the Digimon franchise. It is characterized by its body being covered in hardened skin and numerous protrusions, granting it extraordinary destructive power in charge attacks. Despite being a herbivorous Digimon, Ankylomon is not ferocious but possesses a brave and fearless nature. Its signature move is the "Tail Hammer," where it strikes enemies with the iron ball at the end of its tail, said to completely shatter the opponent's skeleton. Ankylomon appears in various Digimon media, often as an evolved form of a protagonist's Digimon partner, such as in Digimon Adventure 02, where it's the evolved form of Armadillomon, the partner of Hida Iori. It also appears in many Digimon video games as a playable or battleable character, typically possessing high defense stats, making it a reliable tank-type Digimon. Ankylomon's design is inspired by the real-world Ankylosaurus, with its hard armor and large tail hammer making it a highly recognizable Digimon. Its evolution path is diverse, with the ability to evolve into different Ultimate level Digimon, like Holy Angemon, SkullGreymon, and Shakkoumon, showcasing different abilities and roles across different Digimon media.
