Ancient Volcamon

Ancient Volcamon (エンシェントボルケーモン) is an Ancient Ore Digimon from the Digimon franchise, possessing the attribute of “Earth.” As one of the legendary Ten Warriors who saved the ancient Digital World, Ancient Volcamon is considered the most powerful of all Ancient Digimon. Its body constantly bubbles with high-temperature magma, which serves as the source of its incredible power. The abilities of Ancient Volcamon were later inherited by Ore, Mineral, and other Rock-type Digimon. Its special moves include the “Atomic Bomber,” which detonates the volcano on its back for a massive explosion, and “Supernova,” which generates antimatter inside its body, creating a super-explosion comparable to a tiny Big Bang. Ancient Volcamon first appeared in Digimon Frontier, where its spirit was reborn into Grottemon and Gigasmon. In Digimon Xros Wars, it was a member of the Bagra Army, in charge of taking over the Magma Zone. Ancient Volcamon also appears in numerous Digimon video games as a collectible card or an evolvable Digimon.
