Entmon, also known as Entomon in Japanese (エントモン), is a Vegetation Digimon from the Digimon franchise. Its body is composed of decayed trees, giving it a corroded appearance with mold growing on exposed bark. Numerous insects act as the muscles that move its body, and they spill out of its joints when it takes off with its dead leaf-like wings. Entmon first appeared in Digimon Adventure:, serving as an arch-nemesis of Petaldramon. It commanded insects to destroy forests, leaving many Digimon homeless. During a battle with Petaldramon, Entmon initially had the upper hand but was ultimately defeated when Petaldramon sacrificed itself, empowered by Kari and Angewomon. Both Entmon and Petaldramon were turned into plant statues that formed a new forest. Entmon's design was inspired by the concept of a "SkullGreymon in the forest," with an initial design resembling SkullGreymon and lacking wings. Entmon also appears in the Digimon trading card game.
