Omegamon: Merciful Mode

Omegamon: Merciful Mode (オメガモン：マーシフルモード) is an Ultimate-level Holy Knight Digimon from the Digimon series. It is a form of Omegamon that transforms after experiencing sorrow and resolve, with the purpose of saving Digimon who have strayed from their path but cannot return. Its appearance is angelic, with white wings and a pale blue light flowing throughout its body, resembling tears. This light, known as "Photon Spread", temporarily boosts Omegamon's power. Its original "Transcendent Sword" transforms into a katana-like "Fearsome Blade," and it can also attack with a freezing laser. Omegamon: Merciful Mode first appeared in *Digimon Adventure tri.*, as a result of the combined evolution of the partner Digimon of the eight Chosen Children. Its targets are typically Digimon who once possessed good hearts but have fallen due to straying from the path. It uses the "Fearsome Blade" to sever the wings of its enemies and then deliver a fatal blow to end their suffering. Its design is inspired by tokusatsu heroes and incorporates elements of traditional Japanese samurai.
