Gaioumon

Gaioumon (ガイオウモン) is a Dragon Man-type Ultimate Digimon of the Virus attribute in the Digimon franchise, first appearing in the Digital Monster Pendulum X Ver.X1.5. It is described as a battle-species Digimon, a subspecies of Greymon, with immense fighting capabilities and the ability to strengthen itself in battles. Gaioumon was discovered in a neglected Oriental computer, with unbelievable battle records and achievements. Its signature weapons are the twin swords called "Kikurin", said to be capable of cutting through anything. Its special attacks include "Rinka Zan", attacking enemies with the sword trails of "Kikurin", and "Gaia Reactor", unleashing an explosion by gathering energy from the atmosphere. Gaioumon has appeared in various media of the Digimon series, including anime, manga, video games, and trading card games. In the anime Digimon Xros Wars, it appeared as a soldier of the Bagra Army. It has also appeared as a boss and a trainable character in the Digimon Story game series. In Digimon ReArise, Gaioumon appears as the Ultimate form of Hiiragi Takumi's partner Digimon and plays a major role in the story. Gaioumon's design was inspired by BlackWarGreymon X-Antibody, but due to its unique Japanese-style design, it was separated and established as a standalone Digimon. Another form of Gaioumon, "Gaioumon: Itto Mode," also appeared in Digimon ReArise, a mode-change form achieved by overcoming weaknesses and enhancing abilities. Overall, Gaioumon is a very popular and representative Ultimate Digimon in the franchise, and it has played an active role in various works.
