Ganimon

Ganimon (ガニモン) is a fictional character in the Digimon (デジタルモンスター/デジモン) franchise, classified as a Child level Digimon. Its design resembles a crab, which corresponds to its Japanese name “gani” meaning crab (kani). Ganimon is generally regarded as a water-attribute Digimon, though its attributes may vary across different media. In anime, Ganimon typically appears as a supporting or background character, but in some video games, it can be raised by the player. For instance, in Digimon Adventure 02, a Ganimon is the partner Digimon of Dingo, one of the International Chosen Children, eventually evolving into Coelamon. Ganimon has a varied evolutionary line, capable of evolving into forms such as Coelamon, Mori Shellmon, Shellmon, or Seadramon. In the Digimon Story series of games, Ganimon can evolve into different Digimon via certain conditions, for example into Ebidramon in Digimon Story: Sunburst & Moonlight. Ganimon's varied forms and evolutionary possibilities make it an integral part of the Digimon franchise.
